The Minnesota chapter of the American Solidarity Party will be meeting on Saturday, April 21st, from 3:00 to 4:00, at the Southdale Public Library in Edina, in the 3rd Floor Conference Room.
This meeting will focus on confirming officer roles, developing our specific strategy for attracting new members, and discussing positions to take on various issues, such as ranked-choice voting, conservation and mining efforts, renewable energy, and minimum wage bills, in addition to the 2018 elections.
If you stand for the sanctity of human life, necessity of social justice, conservation of the environment, and promotion of a more peaceful world, join us!
The American Solidarity Party seeks the Common Good, on common ground, through common sense, and is modeled on the Christian Democratic parties of Europe and Latin America.
We seek to bridge the bitter partisan divide with principled and respectful policies and dialog.
In addition to Life, Solidarity, Conservation, and Peace, we also support:
• The right of people of all faiths have a right to practice their religion without intimidation in either their private or public lives.
• Higher levels of government addressing only those issues that cannot be solved at the local level, promoting, not preventing, the work of families, local communities, and voluntary associations.
• A living wage in order to help spread the benefits of economic initiative as widely as possible, and favor models of production and distribution that are local, responsible, and sustainable.
• The family as the natural, fundamental unit of every human society, preceding the state, and depending on the norms of monogamy, sexual exclusivity, and permanence.
